Obituary of Louella James

Louella James (nee Hong) of Calgary passed away in her sleep on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the age of 87 years. Louella really enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was especially proud of her tatting. She received her hairdressing and barber license in 1938 and put it to great use over the years. Louella is survived by her son, Robert Birtles, of Vancouver, BC; daughter Sheila (Hugh) McLean, of Crofton, BC; grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Prentice, of Pitt Meadows, BC, Teresa (Marty) Rogers, of High River, AB, Sandra (Rob) Dalm, of Port Angeles, WA, Spencer (Jeannine) Villam, of Victoria, BC; great-grandchildren, Nathan Rogers, Bernadette and Isabel Dalm. She was predeceased by her husband, Jenkin (Neu) James in 1995 and her brother, Raymond Hong, in 1938.
