Obituary of Colina Acheson

Colina Acheson (nee Binnie) of Calgary passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the age of 95 years. Colina was born February 21, 1910 in Kelty, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1946 as a War Bride. She is survived by her three daughters and three sons-in-law, Helen and Ken Smelski of Calgary, June and Lloyd Johnson of Victoria, BC, and Mona Beauchamps and Neils Jenson of Glenwood, AB; her two granddaughters Karen Robertson and Donel and Riley Rebutka; and her great grandson Benjamin as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Scotland. Colina was predeceased by her husband John Acheson in 1974, and by her brothers, Colin and Alex and her sisters, Annie and Betty. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, November 21, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev.
