Obituary of Stanley Robert Abrey

Stan Abrey of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the age of 66 years. Stan was born on February 4, 1939 in Pratt, MB. He lived in Brandon, Douglas and Winnipeg, MB and moved to Calgary in 1987. Stan is survived by his son Derek Lucier; two sisters, Doreen and Bob Roberts of New Westminster, BC and Verna and Ross Vyfe of Dawson Creek, BC; five stepsons, Peter and Trudy Contois, Stanley and Judy Contois and Joe Lucier, all of Winnipeg, MB, Bill Lucier of Lundar, MB, and Russell Lucier of Calgary; and six stepdaughters, Josephine and Charles Vivier of Calgary, Cecilia and Clifford Halaburda of Gypsumville, MB, Jacqueline Lucier of Thunder Bay, ON, Elizabeth and Charlie Rudolph and Blanche Lucier, all of Winnipeg, and Linda Lucier and Glen Fequet of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jane on October 15, 1997; parents Herb and Mabel Abrey; brothers, Walter, Elmer, Frank, and Ken; and sisters, Myrtel, Muriel, Edna, and Joy.
