Obituary of Lennon Patrick Howes

Lennon (Len) Patrick Howes beloved husband of Joyce Howes of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Len was born on July 20, 1919 in Rosyth, Scotland to Frederick and Nora Howes. He met Joyce Watts in Limerick, Ireland where they married and started a family. They immigrated with their four daughters to Montreal in 1963 where he continued to work for Swissair until his retirement. Len will be remembered for his devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren. Besides his loving wife of fifty-six years, Len is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Dawn Raven of Calgary, Linda and Greg Fawcett of Toronto, ON, Sandra and Angelo D’Amico of Montreal, QC, and Carol Howes of Calgary; nine grandchildren, Kim and Wendy; Nigel and Jeffrey; Marc, Ryan and Robert; and Jessica and Joshua and their father Mark Reynolds; and three great-grandchildren Taylor, Natasha, and Liam. Len is also survived by his sister Nora, a brother Harry and sister Ellen. A Private Family Prayer Service will be held.
