Obituary of Harold Hunt

Harold E. (Hal) Hunt, beloved husband and father, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Hal was a sterling example of how a fine human can be and always kept his divine sense of humour. He believed that what we are in our minds becomes our world and his wise and loving nature was his gift to his family and all who were privileged to know him. He will be greatly missed! As one of the early, great contributors to Calgary’s community, Hal was also the founder and CEO of H.E. Hunt Insurance Company in the 1950’s. The company still prospers today. Hal’s wife of sixty-one years Alice Daniels Hunt; daughter Cynthia Hunt; son and daughter-in-law Craig and Lorna Hunt; and granddaughters, Shannon and Colleen Hunt, survive him. He is also survived by his sister Ruth Polivka and brother Ed Hunt, both of Portland, OR. At Hal’s request no Funeral Service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
