Obituary of George Arthur Jordan

George Jordan beloved husband of Karen Jordan of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2005 at the age of 66 years. George, a dedicated family man, was born and raised in Calgary, AB in the Inglewood District. He was an avid sportsman and was a member of the Earl Grey Golf and Country Club for over thirty-five years. George worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry with Wyeth (Ayerst) for thirty-seven years retiring in March of 2004. Besides his loving wife of twenty-eight years, George is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Harry Ediger of Calgary, Jackie Jordan and Quincy Mittertreiner of Vancouver, BC, and a son Jim Jordan of Calgary; three grandchildren Mandy Ediger, Jordan Ediger and Alana Mittertreiner.; Mother Stella Jordan; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Candy Jordan, all of Calgary; two nephews Jeremy and Chris; a niece Joanna and a grand niece Julia, as well as father-in-law Doug Slemmons. George was predeceased by his father George Jordan in 1989.
