Obituary of Irene Flood

Irene Flood of Calgary passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Born on November 23, 1919 in Falmouth, NS, Irene was the third oldest born to Lawson and Lillian Stevens. Predeceased by her husband Donald Flood in 1996, Irene is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and George Rodgers of Sherwood Park, AB and Pam and Stan McDougall of Calgary; two grandchildren, Kyla and Mark Rodgers; as well as sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shirley and Allan MacArthur of Calgary and their children, Shawn, Jennifer, and families. Predeceased by her sisters Josephine and Kay, she is also survived by her brothers, Lawrence, Stuart, Robert, and Ted; and sisters, Marjorie, Pearl and Chris. Irene will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert W. Mutlow, Presider.
