Obituary of van der Meer

Wolter van der Meer of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005. Wolter was born in Leens, Groningen, Holland in 1918. He married Grietje Kruisenga in 1942 and immigrated to Quebec, Canada in 1952 with his wife and two children. He moved west to Calgary in 1959 and retired from Trojan Developments in 1982. Wolter is survived by his wife Grietje; daughter Greta and son Wes (Vicki); grandchildren Nancy, Tanya (Kevin), Wally (Charlene) and great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers in Holland. Wolter was predeceased by an infant grandson, two sisters and one brother.
