Obituary of Hazel Roberts

Hazel “Esther” Roberts (nee Teynor) of Calgary went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Esther was born on the family homestead in Fallen Timber, AB on November 20, 1923. She is survived by eleven children, Stan Roberts and his partner Tammy, Howard and Sidney Roberts, Charleen and John Korethoski, Ron Roberts, Lorne and Connie Roberts, Lynn and Penny Roberts, Lillian Roberts, Benjamin Roberts, Brenda and Greg Smith, Shirley Corbett, and Kerry and Darren Bajema; thirty-three grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; foster children throughout the years; and the many children at Esther’s Home Day Care whom she loved. Esther was predeceased by her parents John and Katherine Teynor; two sisters; and five brothers. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, November 3, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Salvation Army Glenmore Temple (921 – 68 Avenue S.W.) on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Colonel William Ratcliffe, Presider.
