Obituary of Dorothy Jane Dumont

Dorothy J. Dumont went to meet her Lord and Saviour on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the age of 91 years. She was born in Sweetgrass, Montana on July 25, 1914. Dorothy was the youngest of seven children, four sisters and two brothers, all of whom predeceased her. When she was an infant, her parents Albert and Martha Knappen moved to Canada where they farmed in the Milk River area. She met and married Frank in 1941 in Calgary. They had two children, Dick and Midge. Dorothy resided in the Windsor Park area for over fifty years. For the last three years, she was a resident of the Father Lacombe Care Center. Dorothy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandson Terry (Debbie) Trottier; son-in-law Neil Turnbull; friend Tina Jackson; and all who knew her. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1966; her two children, Dick in 1994, and Midge in 2001; as well as her parents and siblings.
