Obituary of Catherine Marion

Catherine “Kay” Edna Marion of Calgary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Kay was born in Provost, AB on July 25, 1920. Shortly after marrying her beloved George in Edmonton, AB, Kay and George moved to Calgary in 1946. Kay worked for the Calgary Board of Education from 1960, until she retired as the Business Manager for Queen Elizabeth Senior High in 1985. She always had a kind word and loving smile and touched the hearts of all who knew her. Kay is lovingly survived by her five children, Joyce, Doug, Enid, Keith and Laura; eight grandchildren, Larry Jr., Kevin, Shari, Jeff, Chris, Tim, Meghan and Danielle; and two great grandchildren. Kay was predeceased by her husband George in 1978. A Celebration of Kay’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
