Obituary of De Blasio

Rachele De Blasio beloved wife of Giuseppe (Joe) De Blasio, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the age of 55 years, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Rachele was born on January 30, 1950 in Mariglianella, Naples, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1953 with her parents at the age of three, where they settled in Calgary, AB. She married Joe on August 4, 1973. Rachele is survived by her loving husband Joe, daughter Maria, and sons Gaetano and Anthony. She is also survived by many extended family members in Canada and Italy. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Giovanni Negri. Rachele was a very kind, giving and loving person whose greatest joy was being with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
