Obituary of Martha Leona Moar

Martha Leona (Lee) Moar of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Martha was born on October 29, 1919 in Colgate, SK. She graced everyone she knew with a special presence. Lee was a great one for small verses and lived by this one: “As up the path of life you climb you’ll find there’s many a bend, so when you need a helping hand please call on your friend.” She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters and son-in-laws Marjorie and Dale Mortimer and Ruby and Jim Tilbury; a daughter-in-law Linda Moar; grandchildren Krista Mortimer, Kelly Mortimer, Tracey (Dan) Morrison, Coral (John) Dambrauskas, James (Cindy) Tilbury, Chad (Jody) Moar, Deanne Moar, and Jody (Nick) Moar; great-grandchildren Bryce, Zack, Cindy, Nichole, Ashlee, Brett, Kylor, Elysha, Lance, Vannessa, Pierce, Jamie, Devin, Corey, Taner, Jordan, Jenna, Lauren, Douglas, Kaitlyn, Taylor, and Ryley; her brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Beryl Moar as well as many nieces and nephews, and all those who knew her. Lee is previously deceased by her husband Douglas Haige Moar and son Norman.
