Obituary of Bella Marjorie Spooner
Bella Marjorie Spooner of Hythe, AB, formerly long-time resident of Calgary, passed away at the Beaverlodge Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the age of 83 years.
Bella was born on October 31, 1922 in Carstairs, AB. Whatever Bella did, she did her best and it was always the best.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Ellen (Dave) Corea of Dawson Creek, BC and Donna (Doug) Thomson of Grande Prairie, AB; two stepsons, Grant (Dixie) Spooner of Drumheller, AB and Brent Spooner of Victoria, BC; nine grandchildren, Kelly (Terry), Christopher, Lee, Michael, Tyler, Heidi, Barbara, Nichelle, and Darren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many friends. She is also survived by a brother Bill Hunter; two sisters, Eileen Lauder and Connie Kirkby; sister-in-law Betty Hunter, and brother-in-law Bill Spooner. Bella was predeceased by her husband Joe and brother Bud.
