Obituary of Layton Walter Warnock
Layton Walter Warnock, beloved husband of Ellen, of Calgary passed away following a lengthy illness on Friday, October 7, 2005 at the age of 79 years.
Layton was born in Coalhurst, AB and for many years resided in Turin, AB, moving to Calgary in 1999. During his working years Layton was a farmer as well as a welder and fabricator. He loved working with his hands and took great pride in the work he did.
Besides his loving wife, Ellen, Layton is survived by his daughters, Cindy Warnock, Deanna (Gary) Sinclair, and Sherry (Ron) Hesleton; son Randy (Leanne) Warnock; step-son Brian (Melodie) McBeath; and his step-daughter Anita (Jerry) Aschenbrenner; as well as ten grandchildren, Cody and Justin Sinclair, Lyndsey, Ryan and Jessica Warnock, Kimberley (Patrick) Kelly, Darin (Katie) and Kevin (Karen) McBeath, Tami and Michael (Carla) Gostola, Jessica and Meaghan Kelly and Joshua McBeath. He is also survived by his sister Vera Owsley, brothers Loren (Mary) and Jim; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Layton’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
