Obituary of Leonard Lang

Leonard Lang of Beiseker, beloved husband of Dolores Lang, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife, Leonard is survived by two sons, Garry Lang and Jane Senger-Lang; Barry and Cheryl Lang (Brooke, Jenna and Tyler), all of Beiseker, AB; three daughters, Charlotte and John Singleton of Penticton, BC (Dawn and Scott, Darcy, all of Abbotsford, BC), Wanda and Darryl Gorr (Shawn and Laura of Linden, AB, Krista and Travis of St. Albert, AB); Debbie Logel (Brittney, Alysha) of Calgary; and a great-granddaughter Taylor of Abbotsford, BC. He is also remembered by four sisters, Mabel, Pearl, Susan, and Laverne. Dad was born and raised in the Beiseker area. He farmed and lived east of Beiseker and moved into town in 1989. He was an active community volunteer and a member and past President of the Beiseker Lions Club. Dad was known for his kind and loving nature and will always be remembered for his unconditional love and commitment to his family. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary’s Church (Beiseker, AB) on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ian Hunter of Acme United Church, Presider.
