Obituary of Patrick Balyk

Patrick (Pat) Gerard Balyk of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the age of 40 years. Pat was born on October 13, 1965 in Calgary, AB. He graduated from St. Francis High School, then attended SAIT and married Susan on December 28, 1996. Pat began his own automotive business “Just the Details” which was his pride and joy. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1186, serving as Grand Knight and District Deputy. Pat also volunteered for many other charitable organizations. He enjoyed fishing, camping, or just being outdoors. Besides his loving wife Susan, Pat is survived by his parents Bill and Bernice Balyk; two brothers Terry (Brenda), Trevor (Melanie); three sisters Susan Arnold, Barbara (Tim) Batty, Carmen (Stefan) Queitsch; sister-in-law Donna Balyk; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother David. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
