Obituary of Nelia Santos Barnachea

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nelia Santos Barnachea in Manila, Philippines on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at the age of 52 years. Born in Cavite, Philippines on August 27, 1953, Nelia was one of ten children of Silvina and Eusebio (deceased). Nelia was a loyal sister, aunt, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, a devoted wife to Ron and loving mother to Sheryll and Kailla. Nel came to Winnipeg in 1976 and worked at Paulins until she moved to Calgary with her family where she worked at Bethany Care. She was very outgoing and always looked forward to family gatherings. She had a good sense of humour, and was generous and loyal to her family and friends. We will remember her with love in our hearts forever.
