Obituary of Eva Smith

Eva Mae Smith (nee Chitwood) beloved wife of Mr. Michael Smith of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Eva Smith was born on July 30, 1929 in Airdrie, AB. She grew up on the family farm east of Airdrie. Eva married Michael on October 18, 1952 and resided in Winston Heights Mountview in Calgary.Throughout her life, Eva’s greatest joys included family, golfing, travel and summertime. She is survived by her loving husband Michael, her sons Norman of Calgary and Darcy of Vancouver; and two grandchildren Daniel and Jillian. She also leaves behind her sister Virginia and brother-in-law, Everett Bennett of Airdrie; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
