Obituary of Julia Tennant

Julia Tennant, beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Tennant, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Monday, September 26th, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Julia (nee Rebar) is survived by her sister-in-law Donna Tennant of Medicine Hat, AB; nephews, George (Betty) Rebar of Qualicum Beach, BC and Jim (Bernie) Tennant of Medicine Hat, AB; nieces, Garda (Dick) Davies of Medicine Hat, Gaylene Spence of Regina, SK and Debbie Finkel of Penticton, BC; plus numerous great nieces and nephews. In her remaining years she was lovingly cared for and will be missed by Judy, Allistair (Michelle) and the late Robert Tennant. Julia was born June 21st, 1911 in Lethbridge. She and Jim were married in Lethbridge, AB on the 15th of September 1934 and were happily married for sixty-three years until Jim’s passing on November 2nd, 1997. She was predeceased by her brother George Rebar and sister Helen Crowe. A Celebration of Julia’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
