Obituary of van Hee

Abraham left peacefully to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2005. He leaves behind his lifetime friend and beloved wife of 66 years, Geertruida Maria Magdalena (nee Jense). Abraham was born in Delft, The Netherlands on November 13, 1913. He is also survived by his son Gus and daughter-in-law Dorothy, one grandson Michael (Heidi), and his 3 precious great-grandchildren Brendan, Tyler and Katelynn. Abraham and Gertrude’s life was one of great adventure. Together they left their native Holland to work in the oil businesses of Colombia S.A., Curacao, Indonesia and finally (in 1953) Canada. During WWII, he served us bravely on a P.T. boat in the Caribbean. His two greatest loves in life were his family, and the outdoors – especially his fishing.
