Obituary of Sharon Lynn Rodbourne
Sharon (Sherry) Lynn Rodbourne (nee Willard), passed away in her Calgary home, with her loving husband Allan Charles Rodbourne at her side, on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, after a long battle with ovarian cancer, at the age of 52 years.
Sherry led a full and active life. Her favourite activities were kayaking, rollerblading, camping, and skiing. With her husband Allan, she travelled around the world and visited locations such as India, Nepal, Europe, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. Sherry was also a successful businesswoman and had a network of scores of friends from within IFMA (International Facility Managers Association), the Chickwagon and the Calgary Flames Ambassadors. Her tremendous energy, positive attitude and bright smile will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sherry was the proud mother of Shauna, Daniel and Scott; and proud grandmother of Aiden Rodbourne-Godin. She is also survived by her parents Bill and Shirley Willard; and brothers, Ted and Terry. Sherry will be truly missed and always remembered by her three nieces; four nephews; and countless cousins as a favourite Aunty.
