Obituary of Brenda Karen Morgan

Brenda Morgan beloved wife of Alan Morgan of Calgary, passed away at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre on Monday September 26, 2005 at the age of 50 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brenda was born in Calgary on April 29th, 1955 and grew up here. She found her passion was nursing and worked in hospitals and nursing homes. Brenda lived in Red Deer for a few years where she continued her work with helping people. Once she returned to Calgary, Brenda spent fourteen years at Southwood Care Centre. She had a gift for caring and helping people and was often found canvassing for as many organizations as she could. Brenda and Al were married on June 20 1981. Brenda loved taking walks near her home in Fish Creek and particularly enjoyed taking her dog, Sysko, for a walk. Brenda was an avid hockey mom, soccer mom, and all-around supporter of her children’s passions. She loved crosswords, cooking and recently enjoyed a very memorable trip to Venice with her husband. Brenda will always be remembered for her kindness, gentleness and her willingness to do anything for her family and friends. Besides her loving husband Alan, Brenda is also survived by her children, Melissa-Anne, Tyler and Brittney; her mother Fran of Calgary; mother-in-law Muriel of Toronto, ON; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Terry and Sandra and Mike, all of Calgary, and Denise and Norm of Trail, BC; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jo-Anne and John of Toronto, ON; nieces, Jami, Lindsay, Haley, Arianna, and Hannah; nephews, Craig Taylor and Jordan. She was predeceased by her father Ed.
