Obituary of Betty Fern Holtzman

It is with great sadness and loss that the family announces the sudden passing of Betty Fern Holtzman at the Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the age of 77 years. Betty was born on April 15, 1928 in Delbourne, AB and she resided in Alberta her entire life. She had a zest for life and a keen sense of wit that brought a smile to all that knew her. She loved her flowers and was renowned for her apple pies and never missed a moment to socialize with her friends. All will sadly miss her. Betty is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Frank of Houston,TX, Sharon and Jim of Calgary; and her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Karen of Okotoks; four grandchildren, Cary, Kristi, Brett and Breanne; and a brother Wayne (Val). She was predeceased by her husband Jack Holtzman of Calgary; her sister Lerene; and her parents Stella and Fred.
