Obituary of Florence Hendrickson

Florence passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2005 at the George Boyack Care Centre where she shared the room for the last two years with her best friend and husband of forty-eight years. Florence had a very full and wonderful life. She was dedicated to her career in nursing and was a great role model to her four stepchildren. She will be very sadly missed by her husband Roy; her three stepdaughters, Joan Broda of Calgary, Caron (Ed) Rissling, of Saskatoon, and Janet Lawson of Vancouver. She also leaves a void in the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families. Florence was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Don and Clarence, stepson Fred and grandson Grant Broda. Our thanks go to the staff at the George Boyack Care Centre for the wonderful and loving care they show their seniors.
