Obituary of Harold Keith Morran

Harold (Harry) Keith Morran, beloved husband of Sandra of Calgary and formerly of The Pas, and Clearwater Lake, MB, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2005 at the age of 64 years. Harry was born on August 1, 1941 in Grandview, MB and married Sandra in 1983. He received his education in Grandview, Winnipeg, MB, and Ottawa, ON and worked for Transport Canada for thirty-four years as a Flight Service Specialist. Over thirty years were spent at The Pas Airport with various tours of duty in Churchill, Resolute Bay and Nanisivik, NWT. He enjoyed his home on the shores of Clearwater Lake. After accomplishing his goal of retiring by age fifty-five, Harry continued to fulfil his dreams with Sandra by his side at the cottage on Clearwater Lake and his winter home in South Padre Island, TX. Harry and Sandra later settled in Calgary. He enjoyed travelling, exploring and quiet moments with nature. A good book was never far away. His gentle, caring manner was always loved and appreciated. Harry was a devoted son and he enjoyed his trips “home” to Grandview. Harry expressed a life filled with joy, love and happiness. Besides his loving wife Sandra, Harry is survived by his mother Elva of Grandview, MB; was “Pops” to Kevin Lamb, Shannon and Brent Morrish, all of The Pas, Jacqueline Lamb and Ray Lee of Calgary, and Colin Lamb (Richard) of Victoria, BC; as well as six grandchildren, Jesse, Andrew, Eric, Leah, Jessica, and Jared. He was predeceased by his father Harold; and his sister Barbara. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Grandview, MB.
