Obituary of Douglas Gilbert Robinson

Doug Robinson, beloved husband of Ursula Robinson of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the age of 52 years. Doug was born on June 27, 1953 in Edmonton, AB. He graduated from Ross Shepherd High School in Edmonton, where he resided in the Calder district. Doug married Ursula Jahn in 1980 in Edmonton and they moved to Calgary in 1992. He began his career as a Meat Cutter with IGA and, in Calgary, was a devoted employee with Westbrook Trading Company and XL Fine Foods. Besides his loving wife Ursula, Doug is survived by his daughter Holly Robinson, and his son Matt Robinson, all of Calgary. He is also survived by his mother Evelyn Robinson of Edmonton; his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margo Robinson Smith and Dennis Smith of Edmonton, and Geraldine and Don Rowlatt of Victoria, BC. Doug was predeceased by his father Woody Robinson in 1982.
