Obituary of Lynn Allison Hieland

Lynn Hieland, beloved husband of Bonnie of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lynn’s strength, determination and sense of humour will be remembered by those whose lives he touched. Lynn loved to spend his free time working on and driving his treasured antique cars. He was involved in the Alberta Pioneer Auto Club and enjoyed the fellowship and camaraderie of the group. He also had the pleasure of belonging to and actively participating in various square and round dance clubs, both in Vancouver and Calgary. Besides Bonnie, his loving wife, Lynn is survived by his father Tom Hieland; brother Lee (Jenny) Hieland. Lynn was predeceased by his son Steven in 1999 and mother Hazel in 2004.
