Obituary of Elizabeth Fossey

Surrounded by her loving family Elizabeth Fossey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Elizabeth affectionately called “Lizzie” will greatly be missed by her only child, Dawnee (Tony); her only grandchild Tarren; her husband Donald Fossey and her loving sister Helen; as well as nieces, Marnie, Sherrie (Ken), Susie, Cindy, Bonnie (Johnny), Rhonda (Lennie), Tera, Linda and nephews, Dennis, Freddie, Justin and Scott. She will also be remembered by her in-laws, Foto, George, Nick, Karen, Lauren, Lily, Bill and Sher Melathopolous as well as friends who were their for her in time of need, Karen Larson, Joy Garcia who took her to Church, and Hugh Williams who always fixed her car. She was recently predeceased by Vallee Onofriechuk, Marge Sanderson, Terry Sanderson and Sarah Lee, who all meant very much to her. Lizzie was a business women who owned her own retail store, bought and sold real estate and could make a dime go further than anyone we know. Her main focus in life was her family and one of her greatest achievements was helping to raise her grandson. A Celebration of Lizzie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
