Obituary of Albert Walter Gieck

Albert Walter Gieck, beloved husband of Irene of Beiseker, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Albert was born in Odessa, Russia. He moved with his parents to the Beiseker area in 1927 and resided at the same farm site until the time of his passing. Albert is survived by a son and daughter-in-law David and Sheri of Beiseker, AB; two daughters and son-in-laws, Ellen and J.J. Hutson of Issaquah, WA, and Betty and DJ Jacobson of Calgary; four granddaughters Tara and Shandra Gieck, and Madeleine and Katrina Hutson; three sisters, Erna Straub and Violet Ruskowsky of Lacombe, Elsie Schmidt of Wetaskiwin; and a brother and sister-in-law Bill and Loretta Gieck of Federal Way, WA. Albert was predeceased by his brother Oscar. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Beiseker Level Land Seventh Day Adventist Church (9 miles East, 1 mile South, Beiseker, Alberta), on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Beiseker Level Land Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.
