Obituary of Arlin Dale Randall Sinclair

Arlin (Arlie) Dale Randall “Maanikapi” Sinclair passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the age of 46 years. Arlin will be remembered for his kind, and loving nature and his generous heart. His selfless character will be long remembered by the many family and friends he touched. Arlin’s artistic and melodic talent was admired and appreciated by everyone he knew. Arlin is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorna; his parents, Bill and Rena; brothers Tony (Colleen), John (Darlene), Cody (Nancy); his sister Alison (Neil) Larsen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his aunts, Nora Ayoungman Sr, Alice Weaselchild, Aileen Gladstone, Lorna (Martin) Selman, Diane Oster, Marie Ayoungman and Doris Yellow Fly; Uncles, Roy Ayoungman, Wayne (Birdie) Sinclair and Ron (Connie) Sinclair; and numerous close cousins and other extended family members from BC, AB, and ON. Arlin was predeceased by his grandparents, Anthony and Rosie Ayoungman, John and Alvina Sinclair; great grandparents William and Lottie Sinclair; aunts, Mildred Back Fat, Ella McMahon; and uncles, Harry Ayoungman, Rev. Arthur Ayoungman Sr., Horace Gladstone, and Adolphus Weaselchild. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at St. John the Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB). Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Margaret Water Chief, Presider.
