Obituary of David Waterman

David Waterman, beloved husband of the late Ruth Waterman, of Calgary passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at the age of 88 years. David was a warm and generous man loved by all. He was always concerned about others and believed strongly in helping those in need, both in the Jewish Community as well as the community at large. Mr. Waterman is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley Waterman and Lee Kavanaugh Waterman of Calgary and Martin and Natalia Waterman of Victoria, BC; a daughter and son-in-law Mary Waterman and Collin Paulson of Calgary; as well as three lovely granddaughters, Naomi Sophia, and Elyse Rebecca both of Calgary and Victoria of Victoria, BC. David is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillian Fishman of La Jolla, CA and Phyllis and Al Rubin of Calgary. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Waterman, son Murray Waterman and a sister Freda Levy of Vancouver. Funeral Services will be held at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue (1325 Glenmore Trail S.W.) on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Erlton Street Cemetery (Erlton Street & 30th Avenue S.W.).
