Obituary of Cecile Sidonie Julie Brown

Cecile Sidonie Julie (Pudge) Brown, beloved wife of fifty-eight years of Cyril (Cy), of Calgary, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 7, 2005. Pudge was a devoted RN. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed travelling with Cy, all kinds of music, and the arts. Besides her loving husband, Pudge is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Tom Brown, of Calgary, AB, Linda Brown and Edson Phipps, of Edmonton, AB, and Joanne and Rod Sloan, of Qualicum Beach, BC; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Mike), and Laura (Barry); five great-grandsons, Joseph, Edwin, Liam, Waylon and Aiden. She is also survived by two brothers George (Mary) Legros and Larry Legros, all of Ponteix, SK. Pudge was predeceased by her sister Marie Ortman. A Celebration of Pudge’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
