Obituary of Lorraine Neubecker

Lorraine Neubecker (nee Karambowich), beloved wife of Mr. Max Neubecker of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the age of 70 years after a long term illness. Lorraine was born on April 26, 1935 in Wakaw, SK. She married Max on August 23, 1961 and they were married for forty-four years. She was a foster parent for many years and touched the lives of hundreds of children Lorraine’s greatest achievement in life was raising her family and all the children that passed through her life. Her favourite moments included taking a trip to Hawaii with her mom, and she loved to do word searches. Besides her loving husband Max, Lorraine will be remembered by her son and daughter-in-law James and Shelley; her daughter Tracey, and her grandson Cody; and grandmother to Taylor-Lynn, Braydan, Shawn, and Owen, all of Calgary. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Polly Karambowich; and her brother Terry. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
