Obituary of Amelia Cioni
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, noni, and great-grandmother, Amelia (Amy) Cioni (nee Corradetti), on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the age of 89 years.
Amy is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta and Keith Rogers and Angela and Robert Martin, all of Calgary; her son Terry of Burnaby, BC; grandchildren, Robin (Larry) Clark, Dany (Pat) Pellegrino, Jack (Janet) Rogers, Marla (Joe) Esposito, and Corey (Caterina) Martin; ten great-grandchildren, Courtney, Adam and Joshua Clark, Frank and Amy Pellegrino, Madison and Jadzia Rogers, Lucas and Andrew Esposito, and Robert Martin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Amy was predeceased by her husband Angelo in July 2001; her parents Allesio and Teta; her stepfather Ovindalo and her siblings Peter, Mary, Julie, Yolanda, and Tony.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
