Lillian Gnam

Obituary of Lillian Eleanor Gnam

On Thursday, September 1, 2005, six days shy of her fifty-second wedding anniversary, Lillian Gnam (nee Rodgers) passed away at the age of 74 years. Beyond being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, uncomplaining throughout her years of struggling with various health problems, Lillian will be remembered by many for her hospitality, compassion, faithful Christian service and display of the fruits of God’s holy spirit – a bright splash of colour in peoples’ lives. Lillian’s death leaves a large hole in the lives of her husband, John; her six children, David, Dawn, Drew, Dae, Darren, and Daniel; her thirteen grandchildren, Jenny, Jared, Jeremy, Jacey, Jacqueline, Jeorgia, Joely, Amber, Ashley, Shane, Roxanne, Kyle, and Bobby-Dan; and their extended families. Her twin sister Lorna DeBolt and her husband Roy also survive Lillian. A Memorial Service will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (9110 Fairmount Drive S.E.) on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
