Obituary of Clelia Caleffi

Our beloved mother, Clelia Caleffi of Calgary passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2005, at the age of 78 years, after a very lengthy illness. Clelia was born in Rovigo, Italy in 1927 and immigrated to Canada with her two young daughters in 1953 to join her husband Gino. Her third child, a son, was born later. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nonna whose culinary and gardening skills were unsurpassed. Clelia leaves behind to mourn her three children, Valeria and Frank Falcone of Toronto, Valentina and Steve Ford and Vincent and Diane Caleffi, all of Calgary; as well as seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Clelia was predeceased by our father Gino, her loving husband of forty-nine years. “Mamma, we love you and we will miss you.” Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
