Obituary of Chris Mann
Christopher Mann, beloved husband of Rosemary of Calgary, passed away peacefully, after living with A.L.S. for four years, on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the age of 55 years.
Chris was a Customer Service Manager for Air Canada and recipient of the 2005 ALS Canada Exceptional Public Awareness Award.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Rosemary, five daughters and three sons-in-law, Amanda and Corey Kala, Sr. Rose Therese, Tess and Scott Nielsen, Tricia and Rich Holst, and Sara Mann and Buddy Shaw; two sisters, Elizabeth MacDonald and Jane Keith, both of Ottawa, ON; as well as a large extended family and many friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, September 5, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. James Hagel, Presider. Graveside Service to follow in “St. Joseph’s Section” at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
