Obituary of Margaret Alice Dickson

Margaret (Marge) Alice Dickson (nee Brown) of Calgary passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the age of 83 years. Marge was born on October 3, 1921 in Tooting, England. She enjoyed cycling, swimming, long walks and knitting. Marge loved spending time with her family and Christmas was her favourite time of year. Marge is survived by her children and their spouses, Dave and Betty Dickson of Hudson, QC, John and Janet Dickson, Tish and Bill Parr, Julie Dickson and Karl Diebert, all of Calgary, Donald Dickson and Beverley of Montreal, QC, Peter and Judy Dickson of Calgary; son-in-law Walter Reid of Iroquois, ON, Pat and Richard Campbell of Calgary. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Spikings of England, brother Raymond Neal and sister-in-law Cristal Brown of England, as well as many nieces and nephews,. Marge was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1990, daughter June in January of 2004, and son Doug in February of 1988. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAYS, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
