Obituary of Bruce Percival Askewe
Bruce Percival Askewe has “Gone Fishn” on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of 42 years.
Bruce was born in Calgary on September 22, 1962 and completed his education in Calgary, obtaining his Diploma in Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He spent many years working for the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel.
Bruce leaves to mourn his three beautiful children, Jessilyn, Jerrick and Jilleena; as well as his loving partner Ann Marie Cook. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Greg Sinclair and their children, Miranda and Tabitha; his aunt Bernice Newcombe; his cousins, Paul (Diane), Kendra, Cheryl, and Michelle (Keith) Black, along with their families. Bruce is also survived by his aunt and uncle Megan and Len Roe, and their families; his children’s mother Sandra Power and her family; as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by several relatives and friends, but most recently by his parents, his mother Patricia Askewe in 1993 and his father Norman Askewe in 1997; and his uncle Ken Newcombe in 1996.
A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to thank Chris, Mike, and Rob for their long term friendship and support of Bruce.
