Obituary of Irene Raffa

Irene Raffa, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Irene was born on November 11, 1924. She married Tony Raffa on June 12, 1951. Irene had been a resident of Valleyview Lodge until recently, when she became a resident at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Irene will be remembered by her two sons and two daughters-in-law, Pat and Barbara Raffa, and Mike and Sandra Raffa, all of Calgary; three grandchildren, Jesse of Vancouver, BC, Lee and Jodi, both of Calgary; one sister and brother in-law Frances and Tom Mastel of Medicine Hat, AB; and brother Peter Steinkey of Medicine Hat; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband Tony on August 29, 2001.
