Obituary of Catherine Ellis

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing much too soon of a wonderful daughter and sister. Our lovely Cathy lost her long battle with cancer at only 48 years of age on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Cathy had a sharp wit and a great sense of humour and was a fiercely loyal and long time employee of C.P. Rail in Montreal and Calgary. She leaves to mourn, loving parents Bill and Joan (Carter) Ellis; grieving brothers, Tommy of Ottawa, and Christopher of Vancouver; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Special thanks must be given to her very loyal friends, Kathryn and Gary Shee; Deborah Ireland Ghantous, and her aunt and friend Gail Carlson for their long-term caring help. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
