Obituary of Michalina Kosarewicz

Michalina Kosarewicz (Lina) passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 96 years. Michalina was born on September 24, 1908 in Belzec, Poland. She moved to Calgary where she met and married her beloved husband Paul in Calgary in 1933. Paul predeceased Lina in 1997. Lina was an avid traveller and especially loved Brazil, Argentina and the Far East. Lina and Paul were a hardworking couple who loved their home and garden. Lina was an excellent cook and had a wonderful sense of humour. Lina is survived by many good friends, especially Frances Evans and Max and David Blitt; as well as other relatives in Poland. A Gathering for family and friends will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
