Obituary of Jenny Murray

Jenny (Jean) Murray, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Monday, August 15, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Jenny was born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, on February 11, 1913. Following her marriage to Denton Murray, they moved to Carlisle, England in 1935. After the death of her husband in 1992, Jenny immigrated to Calgary where she has resided since. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Sameer Hirji and beloved grandsons, David and Matthew. There is a special place for her in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, Ted and Eileen, David, Alan and Sybil, Eileen and the late Gerald, and their families. Jenny was predeceased by her husband Denton in 1989 and an infant son, Gordon, in 1938, and three brothers Bill, Jack and Eddie Pyle. Mam lived her life with grace, kindness, love and courage. She was devoted to her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
