Obituary of Cheryill Halen
In the morning sunlight at the AgapÚ Hospice, Cheryl slipped peacefully from this life.
Left to mourn her passing are her beloved children, daughter Linda, of Calgary; son and daughter-in-law John and Brenda, of Kamloops; and, her cherished granddaughters, Cheryl (Jeff) Trestain, of Kamloops, and Ginny, of Vancouver. Cheryl was predeceased by her husband Roy in 2003; and her youngest son David in 1992.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by her sister and brothers, Pauline (Murray) McCuaig, Norman (Phyliss) Kornum, Alvin (Irene) Kornum and Edwin (Deanna) Kornum. Roy’s family were very loved by Cheryl; Astrid (Ken) Barr, Violet (John) Hanson, Ruth Fearnside and Eunice Halen. There was a special place in the hearts of nieces and nephews from both families for their “Auntie Cheryl”. Cheryl had cherished friends that brought great joy throughout her life.
Mom lived her life with grace, kindness, love and courage. She was a beautiful woman inside and out who touched everything and everyone she loved with these precious gifts that truly come from a source within.
“Happiness is being at peace;
being with loved ones;
being comfortable….
But most of all,
it’s having those loved ones.”
