Obituary of Constance Margaret Inkster

Constance Margaret Inkster, known by co-workers and some friends as Connie Jones, passed away suddenly while on vacation in Birmingham, England on Monday, July 25, 2005 at the age of 61 years. Connie was passionate about her family history and spent many hours doing research and recording family facts. She was also a member of the G&G Machine Knitting Club, a member of the Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association, and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. In 1984 she moved to Calgary from Toronto with the Shell Canada move and worked as a Systems Librarian until she retired in 1994. Her dedication, intelligence and friendly manner will be missed by all who knew her. Connie is survived by her lifelong partner Richard Neale; her brother Doug; and will be greatly missed by other loving family and friends, Ray and Hilda Neale, Sandra Woosman, Bonnie Haughton, Audrey Norman, and Carley Foulds. Connie was predeceased by her brother Alan; her mother Pauline Shemko; and her father George Alvin Inkster. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
