Obituary of Maria Raposo

Maria da Gloria Raposo, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 80 years. Maria da Gloria was born on February 10, 1925 in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1961. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henrique Raposo; and three brothers, Jose, Antonio, and Manuel Caetano.. Maria da Gloria is survived by her children, Henrique and Filomena Raposo of Calgary, Fernando and Mary Jo Raposo of St. Albert, AB, Maria and Eduardo Barros, Dora and Ed Berenguer, Andy and Rena Raposo, all of Calgary; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 – 30th Street S.E.) on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev.
