Obituary of Murdena Catherine Mack

Murdena Mack passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Born in Calgary on December 24, 1918 to Murdoch and Lachena McGregor, Murdena grew up here and trained at the Calgary General Hospital. She graduated as an RN in 1941, the same year she married our dad, the late Clarence Mack. She enjoyed her career in nursing, especially her days at the Calgary Associate Clinic and later at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC. Murdena’s beautiful blue eyes, her sweet nature, and her wonderful sense of humour will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who loved her. Murdena is survived by her daughter Leilani Harvie (Jim and Elizabeth) of Calgary; her son Hudson Mack (Pat, Rachel, Hamilton, and Sheldon) of Victoria, BC; and daughter-in-law Jo-Jo Shutty-McGregor of Detroit, MI. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence; her eldest sons, Darrel and Gary; and her brothers, Bud and Jack.
