Obituary of Ann Weaver

Ann (Annie) Weaver passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2005 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Ann is survived by her beloved Fred, devoted husband and soul-mate of sixty-four years; her only daughter Lynn (Alan) Schooley of Regina, who cared for her mother through the last weeks of a lengthy illness; her only grandson Christopher (Frances) Ewington of Calgary; caring friends, Joan and Bob Byers, Sue and Peter Mott of Calgary; four sisters; and a brother all of the United Kingdom. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of Ann’s life at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with her son-in-law, the Rev. Alan Schooley, officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. The family extends special appreciation to Dr. Elizabeth Woolner, who went well beyond the call of duty or the demands of profession, to keep and care for Ann in her home, also to Beth, Val, the many nurses, and Home Care Aids for their compassionate care, kindness and assistance.
