Obituary of Bessie Kerr

Bessie Kerr of Calgary passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 87 years. Bessie was born on March 19, 1918 in Toronto, ON. She married Neil Kerr in 1940 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Calgary. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles, as well as the Bow Cliff Seniors. Bessie also enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts and being with her family. Bessie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Frank and Cheryl Kerr and their sons, Ken, Rick and Bill; her daughter Barbara and her children, Barry and Amy Hensch and David Hensch; as well as two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jacob, all of Calgary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bessie was predeceased by her husband Neil; and son-in-law Elwood.
